“If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you but if you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”

I am currently working in the IT department, teaching undergraduate courses. My area of interests are Mathematics, Image Processing, Database Management System, and Network Security.

I would like to tell you about the story of my journey. My parents were not fortunate to pursue higher education but always wanted me to pursue higher education and become a successful person. So, I also decided to achieve their dreams. When I was in elementary school, if anyone asked me “hey, what you want to become?”, I found myself wondering what really my dream career was. Still, I would confidently reply that I wanted to become an engineer. And the reason behind that used to be because engineers are the need of country and they also earned quite well.

I have been a meritorious student in my school days due to my hard-working nature and sincerity towards studies. And the credit of all this goes to my teachers and parents. Apart from studies, I was a captain of my team in sports. I used to love to play Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, badminton etc. My hobbies are drawing mehandi, rangoli, playing badminton, carom etc. I love to travel and visit different places to meet different types of people and their culture.

After my HSC exam, I worked hard and scored good marks in CET and AIEEE exam to get the admission in Engineering College. Talking about my college days, I not only enjoyed my college life but truly used those four years to gain knowledge. After my graduation, there was lot of recession in IT industry. I decided to become a teacher as teaching was one of my passions. And, I started giving my resume to different colleges of Mumbai. Then I was selected by Vidyalankar in 2012 and joined Vidyalankar School of Information Technology immediately.

Vidyalankar provides value-based education, versatile infrastructure, superlative teaching and great career opportunities. Since the last 7 years, I have taught various subjects such as Discrete Mathematics, Numerical and Statistical methods, Database Management System. I have guided many under-graduate students in their projects. I have published about 13 research papers in International Journals.

My personal goal for my classroom is to challenge students and watch them grow to their full potential. In my class, I want students to have the freedom to express and be creative. Students should be able to experiment with likes and dislikes and to realize their strengths and weaknesses.
