As a child growing up, I always wanted to become a teacher because I enjoy serving others. My mother always said that I have the gift of talking. In 2008, after my post-graduation from the University of Mumbai, I started my career as a lecturer at Vikas college and this changed my life. Teaching is so rewarding and gives me a sense that I am making the world a better place.
My teaching philosophy is very simple that students do not care how much you know until they know how much you care, I show my caring by forming a bond with my students and trying to help them to find their dreams and strengths, so they can believe in themselves the way I believe in them.
I became a part of Vidyalankar School of Information Technology in 2009 and here my life changed not only professionally but also personally.
In VSIT, I was an active member of the Examination Department for 6 years and also a part of a Staff Development Committee and Staff Welfare Committee. I also attended NSS camps of VSIT where I got the opportunity to see student’s social work.
Currently, I am In-charge of the Student council committee and it gives me so much happiness to conduct various activities for students. While working with students I experienced that students are a great source of energy and we can use it in productive work.
