“Life is journey with problems to solve, lessons to learn but most of all experiences to enjoy.”

‘Quest for knowledge’ has been the moto of my life. I belong to a service class family full of bankers, doctors, civil servants, so my first inclination was towards civil services. While pursuing my graduation, I started preparing for competitive exams and was selected for Commercial Tax Department, Rajasthan Public Service Commission. I enjoyed working in the department for the next two years but there is a famous saying that Man proposes, God Disposes. I had to quit the job due to some personal reasons. I had to look out for my true calling again. After marriage, I moved to the city of dreams, Mumbai. The city amazed me with its vibrant lifestyle and plethora of opportunities. I cleared UGC-NET and received Junior Research Fellowship by UGC. I took a break to devote my time and energy to look after my daughters. In that duration I did M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Management.

After Ph.D., I started working as visiting faculty and it’s the time when I realized that teaching is my true calling. It gives me immense satisfaction to interact with young minds. It’s a two-way process where one teaches as well as learns. Education has a power to turn mirrors into windows.

I joined VSIT in June 2022. VSIT is an organization which focuses on providing quality education with a practical orientation. I consider it as an opportunity to learn and acquire new skills to contribute in the holistic development of students.

I had published research papers in Scopus Indexed Journals and UGC Care journals. I had presented papers in National and International Conferences.

We will never make a journey of a thousand miles by fretting about how long it will take or how hard it will be. We make the journey by taking each day step by step and then repeating it again and again until we reach our destination. It is the beginning of a new journey for me, a journey of self-discovery.

“Education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think”-
