It is well said that God always has better plan for us. An aimless life is just like a boat or a ship that is not aware of its destination or is a letter without an address. I have a very fulfilling feeling about what I have been able to accomplish in my life so far. I should probably give a brief overview of what has been going on this past year.

I belong to a simple middle class family where parents earn and sacrifice everything in life just to impart good education to their children so that they can lead a better and happy life.

The Journey with the Mathematics started in childhood and became more and more beautiful when he got right teachers and professors who taught him, specially, his professors during his graduation played an important role in molding him. Richard Feynman once said, "If you find Science Boring, then you are learning it from a wrong Teacher." Same was applicable for him making him realize that Mathematics is his call for life thus he decided to do his graduation further Post graduation in this subject and today, "I" who once was a simple boy having ample of questions of how logic works behind numerical world became a professor of numbers.

Since childhood I had never ever thought of being in teaching field. Hence, there arises the necessity of choosing a profession. Although I am not fit enough at that age to choose a profession.

I finished my graduation and PG. And then I started working in Axis Bank where I had no inner satisfaction. That is when my life was quickly falling out of my hands and reality wasn't within reach, I felt helpless. I needed to find a way out somehow, someone or something to influence me in a better way by helping me out of the major hole I had dug myself into.

So now I can say if someone asks me what helped influence me to become a professor the first thing I tell them is “My mother.”. As she is a home tutor for more than 18 years. The same values and interest towards teaching creeped into me which i failed to notice before. Thinking back, there have been many different influences that have helped shaped and guide me towards the field of teaching.

So that is when I made a life changing decision which had a beautiful beginning, in next 6 months to enhance my teaching skill I cleared my MH SET exam and started my career as a visiting faculty in the same college where I graduated.

Throughout my educational experiences I was lucky enough to have educators who poured their knowledge and optimism into me, and now I would like to reciprocate that back to students who are in the position I was once in.

Here, in VSIT the college has provided me with a good platform where I can showcase my strengths and follow my dreams. The dream of success motivates me to study. Not my success, my future students’ success. I push myself through the rough spots for them.

As a future educator, I am committed to helping my students succeed, achieve more, and continue onto higher education.
