Right from our school days, we interact with numerous teachers. They mould our lives; but very few of them make a lasting impression on our minds. I respect these teachers in my life and am still in touch with them. Passion for teaching and this opportunity to make a lasting impression drove me towards this noble profession. According to me, a teacher with an industrial experience is an icing on the strong foundation of basics in academics.

I have worked in the Electronics industry for 20 years. During this journey, I learnt a lot of things, faced hurdles and met different types of people. This enriched my life experience which is very helpful when I mentor my students.

I got an opportunity to lead an R & D project in a company. Planning, implementation, building prototypes, conducting trials on the new development was a challenging and fulfilling experience. In one of my jobs, I have worked as Assistant QA Manager in an ISO certified company. I got an opportunity to visit Sweden for higher technical training in one of my assignments. I have also worked as Production Manager in a 100 % export unit manufacturing SMPS used for Apple Computers.

After gathering a lot of industrial experience, I took a conscious decision to switch over to teaching. I love teaching and it is a satisfying experience to see our students progressing in life. Over a duration of 11 years at VSIT, I have guided numerous final year students for projects in the areas of Embedded Systems, Robotics and Internet of Things. Having worked in Examination Cell of our college for many years helps to answer queries raised by students regarding paper pattern, scoring techniques, marking scheme, grading and exam related terminologies.
