Being an average student, I always imagined my future with a normal degree, a job with a decent salary, and a simple life after that. But life always surprises you. I a girl with simple dreams, never thought, would come to a field where I will influence many. Teaching always fascinated me since my childhood, as my Aunt was a Teacher in the District School of our village. Her dedication, passion for teaching always kept me inspiring. After completing my graduation, I started working with an MNC. What a great journey it was! But I was not happy there. I thought what is my motive? What I am giving back to society? And then I have decided that this is not the field for me. I am going to follow my passion. Passion for teaching. I joined Vidyalankar after 2 and a half years of industry experience.
The college Infrastructure kept my jaw opened as I had never seen such a college before. I felt like I have come to a new world and also to new challenges. But Vidyalankar made it simple. I have learned a lot here and my role changed from just a teacher to a mentor, an influencer, and a guide. I have guided many students, out of which some of them are working with toppers from my batch. I got messages from friends talking about the college and the teacher who taught them. I feel extremely proud of that.
Institute has moulded me to do more, more than what I really can imagine for myself. It has not only worked on upbringing our knowledge of the subject but also nurtured the extra-curricular part. I got an opportunity to perform on stage which I was missing for all those years. That performance changed my life a lot. I felt more confident. With the constant encouragement from my college, I even cleared NET Examination. I got a chance to work with various committees like the Women’s Development Cell, Hobby Club Committee, Lab Development Committee. “Thinking out of the box “is, I think our indirect motto and we do exactly what it takes to.
I love dancing, acting, trekking. I’d been to this trekking expedition to Dalhousie. It was an adventure and fun-filled trek. I did not carry my phone to this trek, just to enjoy nature to the fullest, and trust me it was indeed the right decision. So, friends, only one thing you remember, don’t plan too much for your future, live in present and enjoy every moment!
