  • Inception of Vidyalankar School of Information Technology

    Start of B.Sc.(I.T.) course with an intake of 60 students. Internet Connectivity with 2 Mbps bandwidth and Intramail Facility.

  • Increase in Intake and Collaboration

    B.Sc.(I.T.) intake increases to 120. Collaborations with International Universities. New Website launched.

  • Introduction of Masters Program and ERP

    M.Sc.(I.T.) introduced with an intake of 20 students. B.Sc.(I.T.) intake increases to 180. Version 1.0 of ERP introduced.

  • Increase in Intake, Facilities and Infrastructure

    B.Sc.(I.T.) intake increases to 240 in 2008 and then to 300 in 2009. CCTV surveillance camera installed. LCD Projectors installed and Air Conditioners fitted in all classrooms. Official webmail accounts created for all faculties. Each faculty provided with laptops. VSIT becomes active on social media. The Academic-Social platform "V-LIVE" created.

  • Improved Infrastructure and Facilities

    Structured cabling with fiber optic cable laid as backbone. Wi-Fi enabled Campus. Student authentication for system using LDAP. ERP version 2.0 and Digital Signage introduced.

  • Increase in Intake and Introduction to Moodle and Printing Facility

    BAF increases to 120. M. Com. B&F (Banking and Finance) introduced with an intake of 60. Moodle introduced for online examinations. Introduction to "V-PRINT" centralized printing facility for students. Vigour website activated.

  • Increase in Intake and Facilities

    M.Sc.(I.T.) intake increases to 40. Digital content made available to students. ERP upgraded to version 3.0. "V-REFER" respository of notes and academic literature made available to students.

  • Increase in Intake and Introduction of BMM (Mass Media)

    B.A.F. intake increases to 180. BMM course introduced with an intake 0f 60. M.Com AA (Advance Accounting) also introduced with an intake of 60.
