MY LIFE

“Education is a most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world”. With this quote, my family firmly believes that if you want to grow and be successful then you need to be educated! Education makes everyone responsible and a good citizen. With this objective in mind I decided to become a teacher. I am also privileged to come from a family of teachers where my grandfather was a teacher and at present my elder sister is also a professor.

A teacher is a guru and second parent to the student. Teachers are the ones who show the right path to the students and identify their innate abilities. Teachers play a vital role in shaping the future of the students.

To contribute to the above, I went to college and earned my Bachelor degree in Commerce as well as Master’s degree in Accountancy from University of Mumbai. It was a great experience because I earned my degrees as a regular student.

I worked in a Junior College for a few years where I got the experience of teaching. It was indeed a good experience, but I wanted to have an experience in teaching in the degree college too.

That is when I decided to join Vidyalankar School of Information Technology (VSIT).VSIT is an institution which focuses on providing excellence and quality education. VSIT puts in the best efforts to make their students competent enough to achieve their goals in life. The faculty members here are approachable and willing to help the students whenever required.

My area of expertise includes teaching subjects like law and accounts. I have even written research papers and have attended National & International Conferences for paper presentation.

VSIT always focuses on overall development of the students as well as the faculty members. I have been an active member in various committees in the college such as students Council, Food & Beverage, Final Year Project Quality Assurance, etc. In order to enhance the skills of the students, I have conducted various Beyond Syllabus Activities such as Quiz, Guest lecture etc. VSIT has been actively involved in several outreach activities to inculcate a sense of social responsibility among the students through Extention Unit, N.S.S., D.L.L.E.,etc.
