“Vikhyat” is an intercollegiate event organized annually by Vidyalankar School of Information Technology’s (VSIT) Marathi Vangmay Mandal to celebrate and promote the rich legacy of Marathi literary luminaries. Each year, the event pays tribute to an iconic figure from Marathi literature, offering students a platform to explore, create, and showcase their cultural and literary talents In the previous edition, “Vikhyat” honored the evergreen writer and humorist P. L. Deshpande. For the 2025–26 edition, the spotlight shifts to the multifaceted genius – writer, director, and journalist – Acharya Atre. This year’s theme is especially significant as his classic work Zenduchi Phule marks its centenary, making it a fitting occasion to celebrate Atre’s remarkable contributions to Marathi literature and culture.
