Teaching Experience: 01 Year

Embarking on a journey into education, I've found myself immersed in a world of unexpected twists and profound fulfillment.Despite initially envisioning a career in data analyst following my postgraduate studies in Statistics at SK Somaiya College, destiny had other plans. Coming from a family deeply rooted in teaching, I found myself drawn to a role as an assistant professor at VSIT.

In the classroom, I discovered a newfound passion for sharing knowledge, but more importantly, I realized that teaching was a two-way street. Not only did I impart my subject expertise to my students, but I also found myself continuously learning and growing alongside them. In my experience as a teacher, I've learned that the process of learning never truly ends. It's like a never-ending story, where every chapter teaches something new, reminding us that knowledge is boundless and always within reach."

Reflecting on my own academic journey, I recognized the importance of bridging theory with real-life application. Drawing from the practical projects I undertook during my BSc, I strive to make the subject matter relatable by linking it to everyday scenarios. My goal is to equip my students not only with a solid understanding of the concepts but also with the ability to apply them effectively in real-world situations.

Having faced challenges and difficulties myself during my student days, I am committed to ensuring that my students do not encounter the same obstacles. By emphasizing clear conceptual understanding and practical interpretation, I aim to empower them to navigate the complexities of their future careers with confidence.

In the words of Albert Einstein, 'Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.' As I continue on this journey, I am dedicated to fostering a learning environment that not only imparts knowledge but also nurtures critical thinking and problem-solving skills, preparing my students for success in whatever path they choose to pursue."
