Abstract: This study maps the research landscape of online food ordering and delivery by examining 190 Scopus-indexed documents published between 2015 and 2026. It utilizes bibliometric analysis and visual tools to explore publication patterns, key contributors, main themes, and influential papers in the field. The results reveal a fast-growing literature, with India and China as the most productive countries, and a small core of authors contributing substantially to the research. It is supported by three major themes: consumer Behavior, logistics and routing, and data-driven methods of study. The review also indicates a transition from basic descriptive studies to more analytical, technology-based research. This paper synthesizes the intellectual structure of online food ordering research and provides practical and theoretical insights for future research.
