I come from a business-oriented Gujarati-Kutchi family that has always placed a strong emphasis on education. Growing up in such an environment instilled in me the value of learning and the importance of staying curious. Personally, I approach life with optimism and resilience, which reflects in my teaching philosophy where I often encourage students to “be positive” and take mindful steps—big or small—in the right direction.
My journey as an educator began early; at the age of 10, I started teaching a child from our house-help’s family. This experience helped me discover creative and engaging ways to simplify complex concepts and make learning enjoyable. My passion for teaching, nurtured from childhood, has only grown stronger with time.
I completed my schooling at Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School and went on to earn a B.Com. degree from R.A. Podar College, followed by an MBA in Finance. Influenced by my grandfather, who introduced me to the stock market through basic arithmetic, I developed a deep interest in financial markets and economic systems from an early age. I now actively manage my family’s investment portfolio, blending analytical insight with practical experience.
My academic path eventually led me back to the classroom—this time as a college professor. Teaching allowed me to combine my passion for education with my knowledge in commerce and finance. Every interaction with my students is a two-way learning process, where I not only teach but also gain insights into diverse talents and perspectives.
To further strengthen my academic foundation, I completed an M.Com. in Accountancy and qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET) in Commerce in 2019. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in the field, which is helping me explore new dimensions of research and pedagogy.
Beyond academics, I have a love for cooking, traveling, and meeting new people. I also enjoy meditating and reading tarot cards—practices that ground me and enrich my personal and professional life with compassion, clarity, and a sense of balance.
Today, as a faculty member at Vidyalankar, I am committed to giving my best—both as a teacher and a lifelong learner—while inspiring students to grow into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals.
