I never saw my future as something rigid or predefined. I simply knew I wanted a meaningful life—one where I could grow, contribute, and stay true to what inspired me. Teaching had always been close to my heart. As a child, I watched my aunt, a dedicated teacher in our village school, and quietly absorbed the impact she had on her students. Her sincerity and passion left a lasting impression on me.
After completing my graduation, I stepped into the corporate world and began my journey with an MNC. It was enriching in many ways—I learned, I grew, and I experienced a completely different professional environment. Yet, somewhere within, there was a persistent question: Is this truly what I want to do? What am I giving back? That question stayed with me until I chose to listen to it.
Following that inner calling, I transitioned into academics and joined Vidyalankar after gaining industry experience. Walking into the campus for the first time felt like stepping into a new world—full of possibilities, challenges, and opportunities to evolve. What seemed overwhelming at first soon became a place of learning, support, and transformation.
Over time, my role extended far beyond teaching. I became a mentor, a guide, and someone who could influence young minds in meaningful ways. Guiding students, watching them succeed, and knowing I played a small part in their journey has been deeply fulfilling. Hearing from students and peers about the impact of my teaching continues to be one of my proudest moments.
Beyond academics, I have always believed in embracing life fully. I enjoy dancing, acting, and trekking. One of the most memorable experiences was a trek to Dalhousie, where I chose to disconnect from my phone and truly connect with nature. It was a simple decision, yet incredibly powerful—it reminded me of the beauty of being present.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it is this: life doesn’t always unfold the way we plan—and that’s its greatest strength. Instead of trying to control every step, embrace the present, trust your journey, and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.
