“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” —Nelson Mandela.
Hi there, I’m Poonam, and if you had told me back in school that I would end up being a teacher, I would have probably laughed it off. I was just an average student, navigating through classes without any grand ambitions or dreams of standing at the front of a classroom.
College, however, changed everything for me. Somehow, I transformed into the top student, and life took an unexpected turn. It wasn’t about grades; it was about discovering a joy in helping my friends understand the trickiest of concepts. That joy evolved into a burning passion for teaching.
Now, here I am, guiding students of all ages – from the little ones in preschool to the young minds in college. It’s funny how life unfolds, isn’t it? I never thought I would end up here, but now I can’t imagine doing anything else.
My belief is straightforward but profound – kids today are the future. I think it’s not just about imparting knowledge; it’s about instilling the right mix of education, morals, and values. That belief is what pushed me into teaching, and every day, I find myself more convinced that this is where I’m meant to be.
I dream of a better future for India. In my eyes, good education has the power to transform not just individual lives, but the entire nation. I want to contribute to the development of India, driven by the knowledge and values we pass on to our students.
From a regular student to a passionate teacher, my journey reflects the incredible impact that teaching can have – not only on individual lives but on the destiny of a whole nation. It’s a journey I never anticipated, but one that I’m immensely grateful for every single day.
